Bacillus Subtolis

Bacillus subtilis is a biological fungicide. They are effective against crop diseases caused by a fungus belonging to Deuteromycetes, oomycetes, ascomycetes, and bacterial plant pathogens. It attacks disease-causing pathogens before they reach the plant system, acquires maximum space, absorbs maximum nutrients available at the target site, and thereby controls the pathogens by starving them for food and competing for space also known as the Domino effect.  Bacillus spores multiply inside it and eventually kill the pathogen. They secrete certain antagonistic secondary metabolites which have an anti-fungal effect that pathogenesis and kill the disease-causing organism.

 It additionally instigates the plant's regular orderly antibodies against bacterial and contagious pathogens known as (SAR) Systematic Acquired Resistance. Since Bacillus subtilis form spores, therefore, treated seeds can be stored for a prolonged period as bacteria stay alive and multiply after the seeds are planted.

GROWTH PROMOTION ACTIVITY:-     

Bacillus subtilis produce growth-promoting substances thereby increasing the sprouting rate of seed and the growth of seedlings and plants.

TARGET DISEASE:-

Bacillus subtilis controls Downy mildews in different crops.

METHOD OF APPLICATION AND DOSAGE:-

Foliar Spray – At the time of emergence of disease dissolved 5–10 ml Samridhi Bio Downking per liter of water and give 2–3 sprays on the standing crop at 10 – 15 days intervals.
